Description | The original objectives of the award have been met successfully and we are currently pursuing methods of fundings larger trials to with a view to developing novel IP. |
Exploitation Route | Similar approaches to vaccine design could be applied to other infectious agents. |
Sectors | Agriculture Food and Drink |
Description | As part of this study we have used anaemia as an indicator of clinical disease to monitor vaccine success. We have been able to disseminate this, as good practice for experimental purposes to the wider research community and collaborators. |

PI Contribution | We have been involved in round table discussion with the UoL and CPI in terms of vaccine production etc... This has led to a series of interactions centred around developing new formulation approaches for vaccine development. This has in turn led to refinements in funding applications to further this grant. |
Collaborator Contribution | Has a wide range of expertise in formulation technology but also in scale-up and mass production. |
Impact | Pending application with BBSRC for FoF funding directly related to this award. |
