Description | This is a Pathfinder grant which involved the analysis of the commercial marketplace for click ligation and related technologies developed in our previous BBSRC sLoLa grant Extending the Boundaries of Nucleic Acid Chemistry BB/J001694/1, BB/J001694/1. We found that there are significant opportunities in the fields of therapeutic oligonucleotides, gene/genome synthesis and the CRISPR-related gene editing area. Our aim is to exploit these opportunities via a Follow on funding grant which we will apply for. |
Exploitation Route | If we obtain a follow-on-funding grant we will take the technology closer to commercialisation. |
Sectors | Agriculture Food and Drink Healthcare Manufacturing including Industrial Biotechology |
