Description GaN Hall sensors have been produced that achieve sensitivity greater than Si-based Hall sensors. This has far ranging applications from current monititoring and built in diagnostic capabilities in power electronics to lower power, robust switches in mechanical control systems.
Exploitation Route Further exploration and optimisation of GaN-based Hall sensors.
