Description | This is a multiparty project and here we only refer to Surrey contributions. A UK-India Test Bed was set up allowing a complete mobile connection in 4G to be realised across an international link. This is extended in phase 2 of the project Surrey and IITM have collaborated with Regulators in each country to harmonise Cognitive Radio issues with respect to TV White space data base systems. Self organising networks design has been advanced and applied to future small cell systems. |
Exploitation Route | Physical layer innovations to 4G are being exploited in IITM Test Bed has been augmented by other projects including KTA demonstrator and is accepted by TSB as an IoT playground on which to mount projects. |
