Structural Chemistry, Flexibility, and CO 2 Adsorption Performance of Alkali Metal Forms of Merlinoite with a Framework Si/Al Ratio of 4.2
in The Journal of Physical Chemistry C
Description | A new model for adsorption of multicomponent mixtures has been formulated that allows to describe the effect of flexible structures on adsorption. This is the basis for the design of novel separation processes based on the novel materials developed as part of this project. We are now able to describe accurately the dynamics of these complex systems and engineer the processes to achieve optimal performances. |
Exploitation Route | Flexible zeolites offer some unique advantages in the separation of small molecules and suppliers of such molecules (industrial gas companies) or users of high purity gases may use these materials in their processes. |
