Title UKSeRP (UK Secure eResearch Platform) 
Description UKSeRP is a secure data management and analysis platform created through MRC's capital investment in the Farr Institute. It is an integrated suite of hardware and software tools that enables uses to upload and remotely manage their data and make the data available for analysis to distributed research teams. My talk demonstrated the utility of multi-sectoral data linkage in the UK in evaluating medium and long term consequences of maltreatment and the potential to embed interventions at a policy or individual level for evaluation. Anderson is a Public Health Nutritionist and dietician with extensive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating lifestyle intervention trials whilst based at the Universities of Cambridge, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Dundee. RJ did live Breakfast radio interviews with BBC Shropshire, BBC Wales, BBC Jersey, BBC Leicester, BBC Coventry, BBC Cornwall, BBC Newcastle, BBC Ulster and BBC Lancashire. These interviews were then edited and used across all BBC Local Radion stations and 5Live across the day.
BBC Sport also produced a video of the work http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/40383183 which was covered in BBC Breakfast at 7:40 and 8:40 and shown on BBC News's Sports Programme at 6:30pm. The video is also on the BBC Website.

Results and Impact I gave a presentation on how to manage multi-country data and analysis for European projects. This was part of a workshop at the EUPHA Conference, Stockholm: Designing an ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) on health information to maximize research and evidence-based policy making. It led to widespread discussion. The EU subsequently funded the €5M InFact project: Joint Action on Health Information towards a sustainable EU health information system that supports country knowledge, health research and policy-making.
