Description The grant funding staff to maintain the Liverpool Tier 2 node of the GridPP project. As such it supported the processing of the data from the LHC and other particle physics experiments.
Exploitation Route Information technology and big data may use the GridPP performance to optimise their computer purchasing decisions.
Sectors Digital/Communication/Information Technologies (including Software)

Description The findings have improved the knowledge of the fundamental parameters of the universe. Including all of the particle physics experimental results from the LHC and other particle physics projects for the last seven years. Including the discovery of the Higgs and associated cultural impact.
