Description | The key findings from this work have resulted in technical inputs for the design of the ATLAS Inner Tracker. These inputs are instrumental in ensuring that the upgrade of the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for the high luminosity running of the LHC will work as required in order to deliver physics outputs. |
Exploitation Route | The outputs have been used by the international community as inputs for parts of the design for the ATLAS tracker upgrade, which is starting to be built in 2020. The post holder for this post was trained up scientifically and entered the UK workforce on completion of their task. |
