Abstract

This thesis involves using recurrence relations to compute energy eigenstate inner products, transforming differential equations into standard ones, normalising eigenstates and testing the closed-ness of derived algebras.

On the basis of the second one I was invited to speak at/ attend the Philosophy Department's postgraduate seminar
