Description During the development of this grant a new procedure to curate and analyse data for the Chemicals Investigation Programme (CIP) has been developed. Strong evidence of the importance of considering season, time, and date for the understanding of the CIP data has been also provided.
Exploitation Route The CIP is about to start its 3rd stage, and the findings will be useful for its definition.

Stages 1 and 2 of the CIP are being used to understand the sources of pathways and destiny of chemicals reaching wastewater treatment plants. Therefore, mentioned findings will provide a deeper insight on the meaning of the presence of pollutants in wastewater. This information will be of great use for water companies and the policy makers alike.
