An Investigation in to the Validity of Reduced MHD
Lead Research Organisation:
University of St Andrews
Department Name: Mathematics and Statistics
Abstract
Reduced MHD is frequently used to approximate complex evolution in magnetic fields. However, there are some discrepancies between the results of reduced MHD and the full equations. This project will investigate the validity of the reduced MHD equations.
