Abstract
This project is concerned with the development of new methods to control catalytic reactions to achieve a series of new iterative bond forming reactions. Physical organic chemistry investigations will run in parallel with synthetic objectives to provide insight into the solution processes. Applications are envisaged in the areas of synthetic organic chemistry as well as materials and self-assembly.
