Relativistic effects in cosmology
Lead Research Organisation:

Department Name: Astronomy Unit
Abstract
This project will explore a range of general relativistic effects in cosmological modelling and observations. These effects need to be properly understood for the next generation of cosmological surveys, and will lead to new tests of general relativity. This project will achieve this through a variety of analytic and numerical methods, including adding lightcone effects to a new N-body simulation code which includes dynamical relativistic effects. A variety of observables will be computed.
