GaN electronic devices: Their thermal, electrical and reliability challenges
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Bristol
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
Advanced GaN electronic devices are in process entering the commercial market,
however much of their underlying physics is still not well understood. We will develop
new characterization techniques to study heat transport and electrical properties of the
devices and will gain an indepth understanding of GaN-on-Si, GaN-on-SiC and GaN-ondiamond
electronics.
