Abstract

In natural and engaging conversations interactants transmit a wide array of non-verbal cues. This research will study these cues in multiparty, naturalistic, conditions. Then, insights will be used to algorithmicly modify non-verbal cues in social virtual environments to manipualte conversation fluency, turn taking, and other socially relevant outcomes.
