The environments and progenitors of extreme supervovae in the low-redshift universe
Lead Research Organisation:
Liverpool John Moores University
Department Name: Astrophysics Research Institute
Abstract
The project will provide the most comprehensive catalogue yet of the host-galaxy properties of Superluminous Supernovae (SLSNe), lone duration gamma bursts (GRBs), and other extreme transients to provide new constraints on the progenitors and explosive end-points of massive stars.
