Using mhealth technology to improve the reproductive health of men

Abstract
The aim of the project is to investigate preconception health and care of rmen attendong fertility clinics with their partners for assited reprodictuve therapies. The student will adapt an existing Dutch mhealth intervention, 'Slimmer Zwanger' (Smarter pregnancy), to focus on men in their preconception period. The programme provides tailored coaching to improve diet, nutrition and lifestyle behaviours prior to conception. The project will initially scope the importance of the topic to the target population and then explore the feasibility and acceptability of the app for use in the UK using PPI (patient-public involvement) groups and qualitative studies.
