Child Poverty and Life Chances in the Liverpool City Region: Distributions, Impacts, Experiences and Responses

Abstract
The project has five principal objectives:
1. To examine the distributions of child poverty across the Liverpool City Region (LCR)
2. To assess the impacts of poverty on children's life chances in the LCR.
3. To engage directly with children and families enduring child poverty in the LCR to better understand their lived experiences.
4. To scope (locally/regionally/nationally/internationally), models/literatures of best policy/practice, that might be transferred/applied, to alleviate/mitigate the deleterious impacts of child poverty in the LCR region.
5. To impact positively on policy and practice responses by contributing to, and informing, the LCR 'Child Poverty and Life Chances Strategy'
