Department Name: Faculty of Engineering
Abstract
Explore the capabilities of customisable Continuum Robots (CR), developing a methodology to automatically calculate the design parameters that maximise the performance of a CR given a certain task.
Since Rolls-Royce is interested in expanding the applications of CR, this thesis will provide a metodology to help an accelerate the design of this robots depending on the specifications of the particular task.
