Development of new synthetic methods for complex molecule construction

Lead Research Organisation: University of Nottingham
Department Name: Sch of Chemistry

Abstract

This project will examine a range of chemical, photochemical and electrochemical methods for the oxidative activation of low oxidation state phosphorus reagents to give highly reactive intermediates that can be used in a variety of synthetic applications (i.e. carboxylic acid activation, phosphoramidate formation, hydroxyl activation).
