Abstract
This research centres around causal structures in planning: how can the causal structures and patterns of planning problems and domains be exploited to help provide explanations, guide search, and improve online adaptability of plans. Additionally, can rigorous definitions of causal structures lead to a greater understanding of planning problems, and can this lead to a better classification of temporal-numeric planning problems?
