Abstract
My research explores the limits to potential past, current and future life on Mars. My current projects are focussing on whether water retention in rock analogues at low pressure (current and past Martian pressures) and water retention due to salt crusts have implications for habitability. This includes experimental work using the Mars simulation chamber and computational modelling. I will also be experimentally exploring how the demise or non-existence of the Martian Nitrogen cycle could have affected Mars's habitability.
