High Order Schemes for Turbomachinery Aeroelasticity

Abstract

Implementation of high-order (higher than 2nd order) spatial discretisation accuracy in AU3D Finite Volume Navier-Stokes solver. This will allow performing simulations which are currently unreasonable due to excessive mesh counts and reduce computational cost of simpler simulations by lowering resolution requirements without sacrificing accuracy.
