Aspects of the String Theory/Gauge field theory duality
Lead Research Organisation:

Department Name: College of Science
Abstract
The goal is to study the various aspects of the gauge/gravity correspondence. This includes the study of string configurations in various geometric backgrounds, their integrability and other properties that will appear as interesting. In the same time, the holographic dual (to these string solutions) conformal gauge field theories will be studied extensively, since much less is known about this class of theories in higher dimensions. The same are intended to be applied in M-theory and its dual CFTs.
