Abstract
This project will investigate sustainable alternatives for the selective functionalising of simple building blocks. C-H functionalisations offers an atom economic method to diversify and add complexity to simple substrates. Traditionally this has been done using rare heavy metals; we will develop earth abundant low toxicity metal alternatives.
