Abstract
The veganism movement is rapidly expanding, with concerns around climate change one of its motivators. However, the British press largely omits environmental concerns in its framing of veganism.
How is veganism discursively constructed in the press in relation to the ecological implications of diet and climate change? How do experts define links between diet and climate change? How do journalists construct (or not) such links? Mixed methods (quantitative content analysis and qualitative discourse analysis of press coverage; semi-structured interviews with climate change experts/campaigners (news sources); journalists.
