A bottom up approach to Human Swarm interaction

Proposed scope of this work is to evaluate multiple existing swarm robotics algorithms for the application area of search and rescue, to investigate extensions to address:
How to extract mapping data into a human readable form along with points of interest
Define a set of parameters that can be used by a human operator to manipulate the swarm
Then perform a benchmark study of these algorithms to measure search performance and usability factors. A prototype search and rescue system will be implemented based on the overall best algorithm from the benchmark study.
