Terahertz imaging using Rydberg atoms
Lead Research Organisation:
Durham University
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
In this project we use laser-excited atoms as an efficient terahertz to optical conversion medium. We are then able to use standard optical cameras to image the incoming terahertz field. We will investigate ways to optimise this process using theoretical and experimental methods.
