Mapping human brain development at new spatial resolutions using machine learning and 7T MRI

Abstract

In this PhD, we will aim to develop a high resolution normative model and atlas of the developing brain cortex and white matter utilising existing low resolution developmental MRI databases and machine learning to enhance its resolution. This will be based on limited cutting edge high resolution data obtained at 7T, while dramatically reducing the requirement for high numbers of long duration costly scans.
