Abstract
My current role as a control and instrumentation engineer requires me to understand the different types of instrumentation used in nuclear power plants and associated electronics, software-based systems and the degradation mechanisms related to temperature and radiation. This knowledge will contribute to the completion of this research, applying it more specifically to robotics application in harsh environments. The specific topic is currently under discussion with the university.
