Abstract
5G mobile networks will use network slicing to serve different applications/users. The data transfer in the slices will meet the particular performance requirements of the service. Many new/future applications create different sets of data, which need to be transferred with differing requirements for delay, jitter and packet loss. In this work, a laboratory testbed for 4G/5G including an Ethernet xhaul transport network will be used to examine the requirements of different data within 5G applications, such as super-HD video, AR/VR, time-critical eHealth.
