Abstract
As we stand, there exist a limited number of models for the bounce of the golf ball that consider the behaviour of the ball past the bounce phase given the initial conditions. What is lacking in this analysis, however, is an investigation considering the behaviour of the ball during the impact. Furthermore, most of the proposed models In this project we will address this issue and we will aim at creating a through mathematical model of the interaction of ball with the turf during the impact phase. We aim at presenting a model that will facilitate a wide range of initial conditions and will analyse the behaviour of the ball not only at the first bounce, but also at the consecutive bounces.
