Abstract
Tiger's DPhil examines the intersection between displacement, law, urban governance, and public space. With a focus on the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood in Vancouver, she engages archival and qualitative methods to conduct community-based research. Her thesis spans themes of social and environmental (in)justice, homelessness, migration, Indigeneity and urban policy.
