Modelling the CRESDA prototype for the QTNM project

Abstract
The projects deals with a predominantly computational task of modelling the prototype device for the Quantum technology for neutrino mass (QTNM) project. This will involve FEM modelling of magnetic fields for the atomic trap at the core of the device and considering beta-decay electron transport in a thin Tritium gas. Cyclotron radiation modelling from charge transport in a strong magnetic field should be another objective. The latter links to collaborators designing the radiation receivers. The charge transport modelling further links to the Neutrino Physics expectations for the device and could be explored further on this project.
