Abstract
A bar-joint framework is the combination of a finite, simple graph G and a realisation assigning positions in Euclidean d-space to the vertices of G. The rigidity and flexibility properties of such frameworks are important in multiple modern applications. This project will investigate the generic rigidity behaviour of certain graphs and constraint systems by mixing combinatorial and geometric techniques.
