3D printing of polymeric meshes
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: Materials Science & Metallurgy
Abstract
Following previous work developing new techniques for 3D
printing of polymeric meshes for medical applications, the project will
advanced current applications of the printing technique. New low cost, scalable
meshes with controlled microstructure and mechanical properties will be
developed, overcoming limitations of current designs.
