Abstract
Clementine Collett is a DPhil student on the 'Information, Communication and the Social Sciences' course at the Oxford Internet Institute. Clementine's doctoral research explores gender bias in artificial intelligence (AI) recruitment technology. From a sociological perspective, she explores how system design intersects with discrimination and inequality, and how this is compounded by decisions surrounding system governance and structural inequalities in education and opportunity.
