Description The understanding and impact of specific modifications made to perovskite materials have been improved for chemical looping partial oxidation of methane. During my research I strive to improve the basic properties of perovskites with respect to chemical looping partial oxidation of methane. By implementing specific modifications of the perovskite structure via elemental doping, physical mixing or chemical processing different properties of the perovskite can be changed and improved depending on the specific chemical process desired. In my case it was to improve perovskites for chemical looping partial oxidation of methane to produce syngas.
Exploitation Route The improvement in understanding the impact the modifications made to the perovskites can be taken forward by future researchers to help guide them for which modifications could be suitable for their specific process.
