Abstract
This project will be focusing on detailed numerical modelling of the physics and observational features of high-redshift galaxies and the Epoch of Reionization. There is significant parameter space to be explored and a complex physics to be understood and modelled for reliable interpretation of the observational data and its connection to the properties of the first galaxies and the progress and duration of the reionization process. As part of this project the student will learn and then further develop a variety of numerical codes and tools, including massively-parallel programming and data analysis. He will also learn the rich physics involved, as well as the basics of radio interferometry and other relevant observational methods
