Abstract
I'll be looking to investigate the sensitivity screening data from the GDSC in approximately 1000 cell lines using bioinformatic analysis. We'll be looking to identify genomic, epigenomic, and proteomic signals that predict sensitivity and resistance to the novel Src-inhibitor developed by my group, eCF506 using the GDSC data and an integration of other publicly available pan-cancer databases. Following on from this analysis, we will look to validate the results from the bioinformatic analysis in the wet lab in mammalian cancer cell lines and potentially in rodent models too. Depending on our findings, towards the end of the project we may do some further bioinformatics analyses to validate our wet-lab findings and wrap up the project.
