Lead Research Organisation:
University of Dundee
Department Name: School of Life Sciences
Abstract
This PhD project aims to develop a toolkit to assist drug discovery in Cryptosporidium by increasing knowledge of Mode of Action. This will include screening a small in-house library of compounds for anti-cryptosporidial activity. This student will also work to adapt chemical proteomics approaches for target identification followed by genetic approaches for target validation (CRISPR/Cas9). Project provides training in Quantitative & Interdisciplinary Skills.
