Essays in Empirical Macroeconomics

Lead Research Organisation: London School of Economics and Political Science
Department Name: Economics

Abstract

The focus of my research is to provide new empirical evidence on core topics in macroeconomics. Specifically, using household and aggregate data, I study how consumption responds to income shocks and monetary policy shocks. Improving our understanding of this is crucial to improve macroeconomic models and for understanding the merits of different economic policies.
