Lead Research Organisation: University of Edinburgh
Department Name: Sch of Physics and Astronomy

Abstract

I am working on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The ATLAS collaboration are constantly striving to improve our understanding of the Standard Model and beyond. My research is within the field of subatomic physics which involves looking to help explain the origin of mass and give an insight into the nature of dark matter and the imbalance between matter and antimatter in the Universe.
