Abstract

My proposed research outlines a strategy for the investigation of novel concepts in social neuroscience and neuroeconomics; specifically, I hope to establish evidence of the neural mechanisms and brain structures that underlie trading behaviour (in a social context), using choices made for foods (as rewards), and the framework of the Edgeworth Box- a formal economic tool for analyzing optimal exchange of goods.
