Abstract
This prospective research focuses upon the macro-level dimensions of state drug-policy changes by identifying and analysing the evolution, transformation and interaction of intra-state and extra-state factors that ultimately determine drug-policy transitions from prohibition to legal regulation, with a particular focus on cannabis.
