Advanced reconstruction techniques for coded aperture imaging

Abstract
Advanced reconstruction techniques for coded aperture imaging" which would look at image reconstruction using complex apertures for applications in (but not limited to) security, medicine and astronomy. This would include reconstruction from limited views, with moving cameras or sources, and in cases where the scene must be inferred from incomplete data.
This is simultaneously of interest to the university (from the astronomy side where we've never really gone beyond 'basic' reconstruction) and in the security and medical imaging fields where Symetrica have been looking to develop imaging products for some time now.
