Lead Research Organisation:
University of Surrey
Department Name: Computing Science
Abstract
Project Brief The project will explore Explainable AI in support of increased automation - to the best extent permitted by proposed
legislation - of recruitment interviews, initially in respect to healthcare professions and the use of MMIs. This will build on
research recently published in BMJ Open (https://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/12/2/e050394) as well as past research in text
analysis. Data, likely needing to be enhanced in specific ways, will be sourced from Surrey spin-out Sammi-Select; this
linkage also forms one potential route for impact.
