Off-road Electric Vehicle Powertrain and Chassis Control Optimisation

Abstract

In this project we aim to develop a methodology to maximise off-road capability for electric vehicles by means of optimising the topology and component sizing of the powertrain. The methodology entails modelling of the electric powertrain and vehicle dynamics and appropriate numerical optimisation techniques.
