Lead Research Organisation:
University College London
Department Name: Institute for Global Health
Abstract
Overall aims:
1. Examine the influence and opportunities GBF's health targets provide for integrating environmental considerations into the UK's One Health agenda and its subsequent impact for biosecurity and disaster risk reduction strategies related to agriculture and livestock production.
2. Investigate the dynamics and extent to which changes in national strategies due to the GBF permeate and instigate change at regional and local governance levels.
3. Evaluate ecosystem-based approaches used within England relating to the GBF and the extent to which they could be expanded to further integrate health consideration.
