How individual is your sweat

Lead Research Organisation: University of Surrey
Department Name: Chemistry

Abstract

How individual is your sweat - can finger marks be used to look at the chemical constituents to determine between individuals when the mark itself does not provide enough information. This will be done by looking at the lipidomic and metabolomic constituents from a fingerprint and trying to use ambient ionisation mass spectrometry to determine who the mark came from.
